Remember the dreamy eyes of your first love? Who can
resist a beautiful set of eyes? Your eyes are one of your

most important features. Do you treat them like the
treasures they are? Even if your eyes are not 'to die for',
you can make them truly memorable.

Eye Care. Do you care for them the way you should?

Sunscreen on your lids? Sunglasses? Carefully cleaned and
stored contact lenses? Makeup remover made expressly for
eyes? Adequate sleep? These aren't merely suggestions.
They're requirements for stunning eyes.

Eye Color. Do you take the time to make up your eyes every
day.

Take a minute to add some extra color and your whole face
will light up.

Medium and dark complexions can’t go wrong with universal
earth tones.

Going to work? Apply brown tones on the lower lids,
highlight with a light taupe at the inner corners, sweeping
up and outward to the brow bones.

Going out on the town? Add a complementary bronze or deep
gold to your outer lid, gently swept from the middle of the
eyelash line to the corner of the eyes. Fair faced women
should use lighter colors as their basic palette.

Conservative? Use two colors for day - apply medium-gray or
mushroom all over the lids to the brow bones, and from the
middle of the lash line outward with a coordinating lighter
shade from the same family. At night, add a shimmering gold
dust overcoating.

Let’s talk mascara. Brown is becoming ever more popular
because it complements all iris colors. It works on everyone,
as does the standard black. And even though it's available,
avoid blue and green tinted mascara, unless it matches your
ultra-colorful dye job. Waterproof mascara is really not for everyday, unless you're especially weepy. A water-soluble
mascara leaves your lashes in healthier condition, and
healthy is beautiful.

No one has the perfect arch without a little help from
tweezers or a lot of help from a stylist. All eyebrows need
taming, whether it’s tweezing to remove one stray hair or an
all-out waxing at the salon. Tweezing is cheap, which is
great. And you don’t need an appointment. Oh, and if you use tweezers...

when tweezing? If you want to deal with your brows on a less

In my opinion, we must understand dark eye circles heredity in this way: once I get dark eye circles, I'll let this predisposition to all my descendents.

If you accept my point of view, you should take care of your dark circles, unless the opinion of your descendents is not important to you.

To avoid dark eye circles must to understand their causes first.

1. Insufficient rest causes under eye circles. As the day wears on, there is increased circulation around the eye, resulting in worsening eye circles. By insufficient rest you should understand situations like not having enough sleep, working to much on computer, watching TV and so on.

2. Under eye circles are often sign of skin dehydration.

3. The area directly under the eyes are related to kidneys, so the presence of dark circles indicate weakness or problem in the kidney or liver areas and should be an invitation to see your doctor.

4. Perhaps you have allergies. Common allergy causing foods are, dairy products, white potatoes, tomatoes and tobacco, wheat products, corn products, and chocolate.

5. You might have some delicate conditions such as iron absorption deficiency, sinus or anemia problems.

If you still want to provide a soothing and a cooling effect to your eyes, then apply cream or gel. Keep them in the fridge for nearly one day and rub them around your skin delicately.

The most commonly problem encountered would be dirtying the lower eyelid by mascara during blinking. It would be easily solved by applying small quantity of dry powder onto the lower eyelid. It would absorb excessive moisture and oil around the eyelid, and prevent dissolving the mascara. If you want to have thickened and attractive eyelashes, you should apply a minute quantity of dry powder onto the eyelashes first and then apply the first layer of mascara. You could repeat this procedure one more time after the first layer of mascara is dried. Use a small eyelash brush to separate the thickened eyelashes.

You may choose the mascara which contains ingredients for nourishing the eyelashes. In case you love swimming activities or you would be easily cried in a movie, you may also choose the water-resistant mascara. But be sure that you have the special removal cream for those water-resistant makeups since general makeup remover may not do the work.

How To Apply Eyeliner

In this article we take a look at how to apply eyeliner with some tips on achieving some great effects.

One stunning effect that can be achieved easily and a favorite of such well-known actresses from Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe to Gwyneth Paltrow, is rimming the eyes with either a white or beige eye pencil. This has the effect of enlarging the white of the eye to create a seductive, alluring look.

To apply the eye pencil, pull your lid away from the eye very gently using one or two fingers and draw a line along the inner eye rims. Do the same with both the upper and lower lids. To make a sharpened pencil softer and easier to apply, you can draw a few lines first on the back of your hand. This will soften the tip and get the color flowing.

Kohl can be applied in the same way with sensational effect. The use of kohl goes back to ancient Egyptian times and is characteristic of eye makeup in the Middle and Far East. Apply your kohl pencil as described above to both the upper and lower rims, from corner to corner. Then, using either a sponge-tipped applicator, eyeshadow brush, or even your fingertip, blend the color by smudging it to create a smoky effect.

Once you are satisfied with the appearance, you will need to set it by using a light application of loose powder. For an even stronger, more intense effect, apply your preferred color around the eyes in either cream, liquid or powder form.

If you want to use liquid eyeliner, once you’ve mastered the technique of applying it, this can be a quick method of achieving a stunning and sophisticated look. But applying liquid eyeliner can take a little practice.

To begin, it’s best to be in front of a good magnifying mirror, so that your eyes are magnified sufficiently to see very clearly what you are about to do and ensure a smooth application of the liquid eyeliner. Then, using your free hand, start by pulling the eyelid taut. If you’re right-handed it’s probably easiest for you to start applying the liquid from left-to-right, as if you are writing, and vice versa if you are left-handed. Draw across in a single continuous fine line. If you want a thicker line then, at the end of the run, simply retrace.

A tip when applying liquid eyeliner is to apply it as close as possible to the eyelashes, even running into the eyelashes. This will avoid you getting that annoying white line effect between the lashes and the liner when the two don’t meet.

Applying liquid eyeliner does take some practice, so have a bottle of makeup remover to hand until you are confident in the technique. As they say: “practice makes perfect”, and with a little perseverance and a steady hand you’ll soon be achieving some great effects.

Nine out of 10 people have dark circles under eyes, so it is quite common to have them more or less visible.

Unless there are genetically inherited, the factors that can cause dark eye circles are related to stress, fatigue, age, allergies, sun exposure and so on. The good news is there are remedies for each situation. Let's see:

Lack or poor quality of sleep. Sleep means a minimum activity for the body. It is an opportunity for rest and restoration in organs and tissues. Dermatologists recommend 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. If not, blood vessels become more visible resulting in dark eye circles.

Increased fluid retention. This condition may be a consequence of internal disorder due of the blood vessels located under the eye areas can become dilated and engorged. But very often fluid retention is caused by a salt dietary or smoking. In these situations the solution is a normal diet and/or smoking cessation.

Aging. On one hand aging may produce sunken appearance. On the other hand the skin may lose its tension and firmness. You may improve your appearance using cosmetic products with antioxidant ingredients such as Vitamins A and C and green tea. Also nourish and moisturize the under eye areas using an appropriate cream.

Sun exposure. It can contribute to dark eye circles by weakening the skin and creating 'age spots'. You may use the anti aging remedies described above, plus a sunscreen use everyday.

Food allergies. In many cases, dark eye circles are a consequence of an allergic condition caused by a some food your body cannot tolerate well. If you can associate appearance of dark circles with a special food intake, you better avoid it.
